What will happen if your teen bombs the SATs, totally screws up his research paper, or makes a stupid decision? When does a good parent rescue her teens? If he blows something, does it mean you’re a bad homeschool mom?

Allowing teens to fail requires a lot of faith in God. AND recognizing that we parents are not God, only He is. So we might as well trust him with our homeschool high schoolers.

Allowing teens to make decisions that might not turn out so well is a difficult thing that requires character development on our part as well as our teens’ part. Want some helpful ideas on when to character-develop and when to rescue? Listen in.
