Because I want to smile today (and get out the door to Human Development and Civics co-op on time), and maybe someone else wants to smile, too, here is a fun homeschool co-op acrostic poem…
A Homeschool Co-Op Acrostic Poem
Honoring the wonderfulness of co-ops!
Hurry up and grab your stuff
Or we’ll be late for co-op.
Mommy has to stop and buy
Some experiment we’re trying;
Could you grab my tote bag, please?
Homework done and in your folder?
Okay, we are good to go.
Only co-op fun could make me
Leave the house without another
Cup of coffee, but I know I
Otherwise will miss the friends,
Openness and fun and learning.
Please get buckled! Off we go.
We love homeschool co-ops!
In fact, most of us met at homeschool co-op or other homeschool group activities. That’s not including 7Sisters Sabrina and Allison, because they are biological sisters. Of course there are ups and downs in homeschooling co-ops but the good has always outweighed the bad for us.

How we love to homeschool together with friends
Once a week
Marilyn’s house is home away from home
Everybody pitches in
Sharing the burden
Carrying on
Happy memories.
Outside accountability
Off on a field trip
Laughter. Lots of laughter.
Code word for party? Project Day!
On to the next unit…

Oh, Lord, what a blessing to teach and learn and
Pray with friends.
This is beautiful, Maureen!!!
