Advanced Guide to High School Short Story Writing Myth Fantasy Syllabus
We often receive requests for a syllabus for Myth Fantasy Short Story Writing Guide! Here is a suggested syllabus that can be used by individual homeschool high schoolers or groups.
Remember, there’s not ONE right way to homeschool high school so, there’s not ONE right way to create or use a syllabus. Adapt this one as you will.
As with all 7Sisters writing guides, Myth-Fantasy Short Story Writing Guide is broken into weekly and daily writing assignments. Thus, for many homeschool high schoolers, there is no need for a syllabus. However, some teens need a syllabus for their personal goals and many homeschool co-ops and group classes need a syllabus for their classes. With that in mind, we are offering this simple syllabus.
Have lots of fun with the Myth-Fantasy Writing Guide. Our teens have often said it was their favorite writing class (even homeschool high schoolers who hated writing)!
BTW- One of our local homeschool dads, Will Hahn, often teaches 7Sisters Myth-Fantasy Writing Guide to our local homeschool umbrella school classes. Here is an interview with him about writing Myth-Fantasy on the Homeschool Highschool Podcast.
For teens who would like to earn an Honors Creative Writing credit above their English/Language Arts, check out his post.
