Homeschool Highschool Podcast #41: Time Audits for Teens
One of the most important life preparation skills that homeschool highschoolers can learn is time management. Time management is a necessary key for success.
Step 1 in time management is a good time audit. Have you ever done a time audit? You can listen to this episode and download this freebie how-to from Vicki Tillman Coaching.
Once you and your teens have a good time audit completed, it is easy to make decisions by asking the questions:
- Is this truly the way I want to be spending my time?
- Am I getting the best results based on the way I am spending my time? Am I meeting my goals?
- How do I truly want my time to be spent?
One of the most important places a time audit will help calibrate teens and their time management is when they have a big project to do, such as a research paper or presentation for homeschool high school co-op. If they are managing their time well, things get done without pulling all-nighters the night before the due date.
