God created each young person with different interests and abilities. Why should a homeschool highschooler spend 4 years plugging through academics if that is totally not his/her gift?
Shouldn’t a young person lean into the gift God gave them? Of course!
Not all teens are called to go to college!
Redefine success. We can fall into the trap that in order to be successful, our teens must earn a four-year degree. That is not true. Success is growing and fulfilling God’s plans!
Some teens need a year to transition from homeschooling high school before they settle into seriously thinking about a career.
