Our curriculum helps your students succeed. Homeschool high schoolers have been using 7Sisters curriculum for almost 2 decades to build college-attractive transcripts.
Hello, who evaluates the student’s work? And do they already bring the tests and answers included? Thank you!
Hi Astrid,
This is a digital workbook. The parent is responsible for grading the student’s work. There are no tests as this is a poetry workbook, thus the assignments are writing poetry.
Could I use this in a 10 week co-op? I’ve got an hour of instruction time each week.
Hi Rebekah,
That’s a good question. Introductory Poetry Writing is a 5 week class, but handled just right, you could do it. Some years at co-op I’ve spent two weeks on each lesson:
-One week of watching poetry Pinterest videos and fun poetry projects (Here’s a post with some ideas: https://www.7sistershomeschool.com/3-ideas-for-introducing-poetry-at-homeschool-co-op/) (You can find lots of poetry videos on my Pinterest board for Poetry: https://www.pinterest.com/vickitillman/poetry/
-One week teaching that week’s poetry concept and doing group writing and reading
I’m working on a post for teaching Intro Poetry Writing in co-op. It should go live in a couple of weeks. Let me know if you have more questions!
Can you please link me to the Teaching Poetry in Coop?
