One of my homeschool high schoolers’ favorite courses was The Chronicles of Narnia. In fact, this is true of a number of the teens’ I have taught in our homeschool co-op and umbrella school classes!

revisit them!

Adolescents are ready to dig deeply into the classical ideas, literary skills, philosophy and theology embedded in C.S. Lewis’ beloved chronicles.

Using The Chronicles of Narnia Literature Study Guides for High School

7Sisters’ collection of literature study guides will provide your teen a high school experience with Narnia. The guides are written at an average high school level and include instructions for teens who would like to *level up* to a powerful college-prep or honors level for their transcript. For instance, they will have the opportunity to develop their own “Narnian-style” sub-creation (backstory) as they work through the study guides. (A recommended fun add-on would be Advanced Guide to High School Writing: Myth-Fantasy Short Story, which will help your teen construct a story following the format that Lewis employed.)

We have had requests for the syllabus we use with our teens for the Chronicles. Here it is. You can download a freebie version of this to adapt for your needs in 7Sister estore. Have fun!
